About Us

welcome!

Welcome to Peace Reformed Church, a community of faith located in Eagan, MN. We are a warm and welcoming congregation that seeks to follow Christ's example of love, justice, and service to others.

Our church is part of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), a fellowship of churches that are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serving God's people in the world. Our mission is to be and become more like Jesus to help our neighbors know God.

At Peace Reformed Church, we strive to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can grow in their faith and build relationships with others in the community. We offer a variety of programs and activities for kids, youth, and adults, as well as opportunities for service and outreach to those in need.

We believe that everyone is called to serve, and we encourage our members to use their talents and gifts to make a difference in the world. Whether it's through volunteering at a local food bank, participating in a mission trip, or simply being present for someone in need, we believe that our faith is meant to be lived out in service to others.

We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our church community. Whether you're looking for a place to worship, opportunities to connect with others, or ways to serve and make a difference in the world, we believe that you'll find something here that speaks to your heart.

what we believe

At Peace Reformed Church, we believe in the power of God's love to transform our lives and the world around us. We believe in the Triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who created the world and everything in it and who continues to work in and through us today.

We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again to offer us eternal life and to reconcile us with God. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that it teaches us how to live in a way that honors God and blesses others.

We believe that our faith is meant to be lived out in service to others, and that we are called to use our gifts and talents to make a difference in the world. We believe in the power of prayer, and in the importance of worship, fellowship, and discipleship as means of growing in our faith and building relationships with others.

We also believe that God's love extends to all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can experience God's love and grace.

We invite you to join us in living out our faith in tangible and meaningful ways, and to experience the transformative power of God's love for yourself.

Our History

Peace Reformed Church has been a part of the Eagan community for over 50 years. Our church was founded in 1960 by a group of families who were looking for a place to worship and grow in their faith together.

Over the years, our church has grown and evolved, but our commitment to God's love and grace has remained constant. We have been blessed with many dedicated pastors, staff members, and volunteers who have helped to shape our church community into what it is today.

As part of the Reformed Church in America, we are part of a rich history of faith and service that dates back to the 16th century. Our denomination has been at the forefront of many important social and cultural movements, including the abolition of slavery, the civil rights movement, and the fight against poverty and injustice.

At Peace Reformed Church, we are proud to be part of this tradition of faith and service, and we are committed to continuing to grow and evolve in response to God's call. We invite you to be a part of our church community and to help us shape the future of our church together.

Our Consistory

At Peace Reformed Church, we are led by a group of dedicated and faithful volunteers known as the Consistory. Consistory is a term used in the Reformed Church in America to describe the governing board of a local congregation.

The Consistory is made up of both elders and deacons who are elected by the congregation to serve in these leadership roles. Elders are responsible for the spiritual well-being of the congregation, while deacons are responsible for the physical and material needs of the congregation.

Together, the Consistory works to discern God's will for our church and to make decisions that help us to live out our mission and vision. They meet regularly to pray, discuss, and make important decisions on behalf of our church community.

At Peace Reformed Church, we are grateful for the time, energy, and commitment of our Consistory members. They are an important part of our church community and help to ensure that our church remains a place of worship, fellowship, and service.
