SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

We worship God in many ways; the people of Peace do so in many styles and languages. Here's a list of options available:

I prefer a traditional service - singing the familiar hymns, a choir with organ music.
Try our Daybreak service, led by Pastor Al Pruis.

I like a more contemporary worship - a band, praise music, less structured.
The Contemporary service is also led by Pastor Al Pruis, with music from the band Reconciled. Same solid biblical message, but in a different style of worship.

How about a service that is more twenty-something oriented? David Crowder, shorts and flip-flops OK?
That would be our epic service at 10:50. Pastor Chris Reinertson and the epic band provide an interactive experience that seeks to combine the culture of today with best elements of historical worship and the Biblical story. Our time together will incorporate the origin of the term "epic" - Experience, Participate, Imagine, Connect. And during the summer, even Pastor Chris is often decked out in shorts and flip-flops.

I'm interested in Lao language services The Lao Service is led by Lay Pastor Bouala Sisomphou in the Lao worship room, which is at the foot of the stairs to the right of the church's main entrance. Once a month, the Lao congregation joins the 9:00 Daybreak service in the sanctuary.

I'm deaf/hard of hearing. Are any of the services signed?
Even better than that - we have an entire Deaf/HH service, led by Pastor Bob Westerhaus.

I've got hurts, habits, or hangups, and would like to worship with people who have walked the same paths as me.
Take a look at Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights. This is not a worship service, but it does start with an enthusiastic time of praising God.

Sorry, sitting in a church service just doesn't work for me. I don't want to go to church, I want to do church - to go out and make life better for others.
No problem, you can still join us in packaging food for hungry people, repairing flood-damaged homes in Iowa, rebuilding earthquake-shattered orphanages in Haiti, or building a primary school in Kenya.
