COMMUNITY IMPACT

Peace Church strives to have an impact on the local community. Local ministries include:

Mercy Room

The Mercy Room provides free clothing and toiletries. It is located on the lower floor of the gym building.
Hours: Wednesday 3-5 PM.

Community Action Council

CAC is a non-profit human services agency in Dakota County. Peace Church collects food for their food shelf, and participates in other activities such as Armful of Love.

Hugs Across America

"In this often troubled and troubling world, it is our mission to bring comfort to children in crisis through the hugs of teddy bears and messages of loving care." Hugs Across America is a national organization that provides teddy bears and messages of care to children in crisis, such as after a natural disaster or domestic violence incident.

Habitat For Humanity

Volunteer teams from Peace work on Habitat homes both in the Twin Cities and at national locations.

Meals On Wheels

Peace provides several drivers to support Meals on Wheels, which provides hot meals to seniors who may have difficulty preparing their own food.

Urban Ventures

Located in Minneapolis, Urban Ventures focuses on building successful communities by developing youth leadership, strengthening families, and creating meaningful work opportunities. Peace has had a long relationship with Urban Ventures.
