Tuition responsibility remains with the enrolled child unless a substitute attends for that day. If a substitute attends, $16.00 will be credited to tuition for the next month. Please make checks payable to Kids Peace Time or KPT. **** Scholarships are available for KPT. Please talk to a director at your discretion if you need partial assistance. Daily Registration: There will be a sign in /out sheet in your child’s classroom. Please leave the following information each class day:
Withdrawals: Two weeks notice should be given to the directors in advance of withdrawal from the program. The directors reserve the right to cancel the enrollment of anyone who abuses the privileges and/or policies of KPT. The directors reserve the right to implement a probationary/cancellation policy for a child in the program if disruptive behavior persists. KPT wants to keep every child in our program and will work with the parents and child to deal with any problems that might occur. Snacks: A beverage and small snack will be provided each day at approximately 10:30 am. Please list any food allergies on the personal information form. If you wish to bring a special birthday or holiday treat for your child’s class please make arrangements with the class teacher. All treats must be prepackaged or from a store bakery.
Weather Closings: KPT will follow District 196 (Rosemount, Eagan, Apple Valley) weather closings. If District 196 is closed or has a late start KPT will be closed. KPT staff will not be able to call everyone so please make it your responsibility to check school closings due to bad weather. If there is more than one full day closing you will receive a credit in tuition for one day the next month. What To Bring: BE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS CLEARLY MARKED. Yellow Ducks:
Red Rabbits/Red Ladybugs:
Green Turtles/Frogs and Blue Whales:
What To Wear: Children should be comfortably dressed in play clothes. Play clothes are ideal since some crafts can get messy. Sneakers are the best because of gym time. Clothing should be simple enough so the child can use the bathroom with minimal assistance
What Not to Bring: We ask that you do not allow your child to bring toys from home unless the teacher has requested them for a special activity. Please do not send party invitations or balloons to KPT. Daily Routine: The classes are very structured. They consist of free play, snack, craft, story time, gym, movie, lunch, and alone reading time. The yellow ducks (14 months – 2 yrs) nap around 12:30 and the red rabbits (2-3 yrs) have rest time from 1:00-1:30. Each week we focus on a particular theme in which the craft, movie and story coincide. At least once a month the theme will focus on a Bible story. We have a Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas program and a Mother’s Day Tea. We have some special weeks including P-day (pizza, popcorn and PJ’s), bike day, and an egg hunt. Questions? Contact us by email at kpt@peace-eagan.org. Or, call the church at (651)454-4542 and leave a message on KPT’s voice mail. Both will be checked regularly during the school year. |
