Haiti Earthquake

Kenya

For ten years, Peace Church has been sending mission teams to the Tana River District of Kenya. We have built and supported a preschool and a church, started two sewing co-ops, and had several wells drilled in drought-prone areas. The most recent team spent three weeks in May and June 2010.

Laos

Peace sends teams to Laos frequently, including 2009 and 2010. Work in Laos has centered on a large school that fills an important need in the area. This mission is especially meaningful considering the Lao congregation at Peace.

Feed My Starving Children

You don't need to go overseas to make a difference in the world. FMSC is Christian organization that lets you work close to home on a project that has a global impact. FMSC has developed an emergency food mixture that is sent worldwide to areas where starvation is a serious risk. Volunteer teams assemble and package the food, then box it up for shipment. Peace provides teams on a regular basis; check the schedule and sign-up book on the Mission board at Peace.
