The next class begins September 16th.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a 10 week practical introduction to the Christian faith. Each weekly session begins with an informal dinner, followed by a large group learning time, and small group discussion and interaction. Alpha is for everyone, including people investigating Christianity, new comers to the church, new Christians, and long time believers who want to deepen their faith. Topics covered include:
- Who Is Jesus?
- Why Did Jesus Die?
- Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
- Why and How Do I Pray?
- What About the Holy Spirit?
- How Can I Overcome Evil?
- Why and How Should I Tell Others?
- Does God Heal Today?
- What About the Church?
One way to think of it is with the following acronym:
Anyone can come. Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith is welcome.
Learning and laughter. Join others in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pasta (or other great food). Each weekly session begins with dinner.
Helping one another. Dinner is followed by a large-group presentation and small-group discussion.
Ask anything. Here’s your chance to ask your questions and express your opinions.
