Adult Ministries on Sundays

Sunday adult classes begin on September 16, 2007 and run through May 18, 2008. They are offered from 9:45 -10:30 a.m. Childcare and youth programs are available.

Ambassadors - A vital part of Peace’s Senior Ministry, Ambassadors is led by Tom Weyrick in Room 101/102. Throughout the year the Ambassadors will be studying a series of lessons written by well-known author and teacher Charles R. Swindoll. The fall session will begin with Coming to Terms With Sin, a study of the Romans 1-5 and continue through the book of Romans with two Swindoll books, entitled Learning to Walk by Grace and Relating to Others in Love.

Experiencing God - Led by Stuart VanderVegte in Room 140/142, Experiencing God is a wonderful series focused on growing in relationship with God and understanding God at work in our world. Christians in all stages of their spiritual walk will renew their spiritual relationship with God through Bible study, group discussion, laughing and fellowship.

Good Soil - Led by Keevan and Mike Kosidowski in Room 107/108. Good Soil is an adult community group designed to bring participants into closer fellowship with God and each other. This fall we will journey through John Ortberg’s best selling study The Life You’ve Always Wanted – Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People.

Young Marrieds - Facilitated by Lisa Kofoed In Rooms 104/105. Targeting young married couples (with or without children), this group seeks to build fellowship and relationships with each other, while learning more about how to apply God's Word to our lives. This Fall we will ponder and discuss Ed Young's book, "The Ten Commandments of Marriage", which offers profound, humorous and biblical ideas for a lifelong happy and healthy marriage.
