Ambassadors.
A vital part of Peace’s Senior Ministry, Ambassadors is led by Tom Weyrick in Room 101/102.
This fall the Ambassadors will be studying the Book of John using Bruce Bickel’s and Stan Jantz’s book entitled
"Encountering Christ in a Life-Changing Way."
Paraphased from Tom Nelson’s quote in the Open Bible Edition of the New American Standard translation,
"John is both the simplest and the most profound of the Gospels…that beginning students are almost always directed to John first.
Yet, its theological insights are so powerful and far-reaching that the greatest Christian thinkers have never been able to grasp all its messages.
This is a remarkable testimony to the divine inspiration of this amazing book."
Going deeper: The Art of Reading Scripture. Led by Pastor Mark in Rooms 107/108. Learn to love scripture like you’ve never loved it before. We will explore the origin of the Bible and its development over time, wrestle with the forgotten and frightening passages, and delve into the exciting and diverse methods of reading scripture that the early church perfected. Watch the Bible come alive as we learn more about this mysterious text and become more deeply in touch with God. Young Marrieds. Facilitated by Brad Eby in Room 110. Targeting young married couples (with or without children), this group seeks to build fellowship and relationships with each other, while learning more about how to apply God's Word to our lives. The Fall session will take participants through Philip Yancy's "What's So Amazing About Grace?", which includes ten powerful video sessions and discussions that will help you discover together why grace is more amazing than you've ever dreamed. Please join us. |
