Children's Ministry Director

Interests: Spending time with family, reading, packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and knitting.

Passions: Planting the early seeds of faith in young children, encouraging children to develop a personal relationship with Christ, equipping new ministry volunteers and making Children’s Ministry a fun and safe place for all kids.

I discovered my passion working with children about 25 years ago as a ministry volunteer.

I’ve worked at Peace as the Children’s Director for seven years. I am also a Children and Worship trainer for the Reformed Church, which is our children’s church ministry. As well as overseeing all of our children’s programs, I also volunteer in our Children’s Worship program and our 4th and 5th grade elementary prayer ministry.

My husband Al and I have been married for twenty six years and he just happens to be the senior pastor at Peace Church. We have two children. Our son is a registered nurse and living in Milwaukee. Our daughter is in her junior year at Luther College of Decorah, IA and is also pursuing a degree in nursing.

We’re not completely empty nesters as our little Yorkshire terrier, Rosie, keeps us company. She is a very affectionate dog and is spoiled rotten by the whole family.
